Hey guys, I own a 98 240sx and interested in AEM short ram intake. I was wondering if i can use my stock Inlet air temp. sensor instead of buying one off AEM.

thanks

Well, i actually started out with an AEM short ram intake....The difference between not only the sound, but the performance of an Injen cold air and short ram were huge for me...

I know this is my opinion, so please don't flame...lol....but with the CAI , it almost sounds like u have a VTEC kickin in (i hate Hondas, but VTEC sounds raw, my roomie has a SI)....
I know that I was p*ssed when i realized i should have gotten the CAI in the first place.....
I made the same mistake with my exhaust also....blew money on just a muffler (i was naive)...when i should have just saved and got a full catback, which i have now.....live and learn.....

I thought only the 89-90 models had the air temp sensor on the intake box?

Either way, the answer is no. you don't need anything but the intake to install it, and have it work.
