I am currently collecting supplies for building my new wiring harness and I have noticed something about the Raychem DR-25 heatshrink. It has an expiration date. What does this mean in terms of functionality and issues I may encounter while working with it? I found a place that I can buy it by the roll for cheap, but unfortunately the rolls are passed their expiration date. Does this mean it may not shrink properly? If not, what DOES it mean?
I'm assuming this may be a case where it's better just buy it direct and new despite of the cost.
