you can use the auto radiator you just have to plug up the extra hole for the tranny cooler. The section for the tranny fluid and coolant are separate so don't worry about your coolant just falling out.
There are a couple of guys that are running auto rads in their 5spds
To log out look for the logout button at the bottom of the page.

The difference between the radiators is that the auto rad has trans fluid bungs in the bottom for the trans fluid to be cooled. You can use an auto rad on a 5 speed, but not vice versa.
To log out, go to the forums main page (the one that lists ALL the forums) and go to the bottom. it's down there.
BTW, this is more of a technical question (the radiator thing), so i'm moving this there.
well you can use the 5 speed radiator in an auto but you would need an external trans cooler

dude. do you realize you replied to a three month old topic? i mean, it's cool that you're trying to help, but stating the obvious and not answering the original posters's question makes you look like a bit of an ass.
Check thread dates before you reply. Generally, we leave stuff alone if the question has been answered or if it's three months or older.

Oh well, sinces its bumped I can safely whore.
I just replaced my 5spd radiator with the auto radiator. You just have to either plug up the lines or drain the auto resevior and leave the bungs exposed (woo woo thats what I did) Works fine.
It may be possible to use the auto radiator to cool other things in the car such as oil or something. I don't know the temps involved though so some research is def in order.
