Looking to buy 16"X7 rims for extreme driving. What offset should I run. Please don't send me to the Search; I've tried it.

20 would be cool. I think the tires sitting outside of the fenders looks ghetto as hell.

of course. that's lame
that's why we have something called 'negative camber' to fix that. and no neg camber doesnt kill tires (as long as it is not extreme neg camber)

20 is lame
if i were you, i'd go at least +15 or lower but...
you can slap a spacer on (5mm or more=longer studs) 5mm is no longer stud

aww come on man, +20 is fine for "normal" people. ;) Only drift monstors like you need wheels that are +15 or lower. heh heh. I'd be happy (enough) with a 7" wide +20 wheel! ... I'd just slap a 12mm spacer on there!

Offset? As high as possible without hitting the suspension with the widest sane tire size on the wheel. That's my philosophy... I don't give a damn about "flush", but I do give a damn about scrub radius.

For a 16x7 that would be probably around +30ish with a 225/50-16. You could go higher, but +30 gives some wiggle room for coilovers, etc. That pretty much puts the wheel dead center in the wells between the suspension and fender lip.
