ok so I am fairly new here and I'm not a master tech or anything like that. I've done a Ton of research and am just looking for any extra info I could pick up. if you think I'm dumb for asking you can have one of these -->:fawk: and a nice day. down to the point, in short I will be doing a KA Rebuild I don't want an SR, Everyone has an SR plus my 4cyl. Ka24de would be alot easier to work with Due to California's laws:bash:. I have been looking into getting a t25/28 Turbo and kickin the stock 155hp up a whole other notch so If you don't have any info don't scrutinize me to make yourself feel better Thanks.

how would turbocharging your ka (as opposed to getting an sr) be any easier in dealing w/ cali laws? you're not gonna pass smog either way.

I have a sr t25 for sale for you has a little shaft play, prolly could use some new oil seals

how would turbocharging your ka (as opposed to getting an sr) be any easier in dealing w/ cali laws? you're not gonna pass smog either way.
The KA is legal the SR=Illegal if I turbocharge the KA it wouldn't be a huge problem to take the illegal stuff off. while with the SR I'd have to take the whole engine out to pass smog. plus everyone has a SR

Thats true..........:wan:.........until you find out none of that shit you put on your KA was carb legal and then you still couldn't pass smog anyways.

Injen intake, cat back exhaust, nismo flywheel lightweight pulleys, nistune, call it done and smog it all day.

not to mention the car would sound like utter shit if u change internals which would give a ref a red light...

i go with this set up to be legal. but still cops can dick you around with fix it tickets.

I been looking at a mild set up 180 or 200+HP not to much work to put back to stock if needed just make sure your motor healthy.
