Want to change the steering wheel on my UK s14, but i need to know if there is any way of fooling the air bag computer into thinking that its still connected! want to keep the passenger one active! anyone got any ideas or done this???

its illegal.
I'd go for one of those momo sport wheels with airbags, they pop up from time to time.

Not in UK! i did look for a sport wheel with a bag but no one seems to do one for s14!!

Can find no referance to airbag wheels on Momo site! where can you get aftermarket sport airbag wheels??

Im not sure, but I've heard that putting a resistor across the wires may trick the air bag controller into thinking that its still there.
Don't know if its worth trying though, don't want to risk setting off the other one. Might just want to remove it too.
I've pulled em out before, but never tried to diable them.
