Kellogg Co. says there will be a nationwide shortage of its popular Eggo frozen waffles until next summer because of interruptions in production at two of the four plants that make them.

It will take until the middle of 2010 before shelves around the country are stocked at pre-shutdown levels, Charles said.

Damn...I'd better grab some mega boxes from Costco this weekend! I had a discussion about who would need 60 waffles in a box. I guess that's me! Cinnamon and strawberry for the win!

Thats how I eat mine, sometimes with bananas in there too, although mine are not eggos. Either that or chocolate chips sandwiched between the waffles.

lol. I just bought a box of eggo blueberry waffles. I've tried other brands, but it seems eggo is the best for blueberry. :)

haha waffles have been out for a while at my work. That whole section of the freezer just looks barren. We'll get a case every now and then of some of the more popular flavors but that's about it.
