My brother is so stupid. We were driving to go pick up pizza and we see a CTS on the street. He says to me, " Me and my friends saw one suped up". I asked him how did he know. He said, because it had ground effects, a spoiler and a muffler. I just laughed at him because he doesn't know what he is talking about. He has a '96 eclipse with neons inside and a loud fart muffler to go along with his so called performance mods. Does anybody else have siblings that are ricers and won't listen to your advice about cars?

My family thinks I'm crazy because i spend all of my money and most of my free time working on my car. They all just roll their eye's when i start talking "240 stuff" or anything car related for that matter! :p

Well my bro is the reason I got into imports. I guess he is a ricer though. Although he was one of the first ones in my area (at least in my school) to own those little wiper nozzle lights (they looked a lot better in the eBay ad), then a bunch of people in my school got em and they start popping up everywhere.

He drives an MX6 aka the FWD 240 that couldn't :p. His car is at least v6. His mods are jspec one piece headlights (he got em cuz he got in an accident), he has those indiglo pedals but they were not really installed correctly so the gas pedal one is just laying on the ground, he doesn't really like em anymore so he doesn't fix em, and he also has a couple of black lights and a new cat (cuz he needed one), and some tires too.

Then he has a friend who believes in the all mighty performance chip, I am waiting for his friend to get one to realize how little of a difference it will make with a stock car.

Anyways my bro doesn't care much about cars anymore, but he is less of a ricer than he was before, he knows turbo is good and he thinks stickers and **** are gay so hes getting better.

Next on his list is possible an auto to manual swap.

Well I assume you think the Supra is god (as about everyone does), they are only like 150lbs. less...do you think they are a landboat??

The 3000gt wasn't built to be a sports car, it's a touring car, meant for handling,styling, and whatnot. So as the cars owners can't brag about spending so and so amounts of money and getting into the 10's easily like the other sports cars (i.e. supras), they can boast about the style, comfort, and acceleration/handling of their car - which is what it was designed for, and i'm sorry but being able to run mid-high 12's after BPU is nothing to be sad about.

Yes they are. I looked at a few supras before i bought my s14 and the nissan is more my style, agile and not overpowering.

I gave my sister my old car. 1990 190E Benzo. I threw head unit and speakers in it. She's happy with those. Now she wants 18" AMG monoblock wheels and the 2.3-16 lip-kit. With the molded AMG-style wing. She got euro corners and is saving for the Euro 1-piece headlights. I dont think thats ricer. Thats just some expensive taste.

hhmm i dont have any younger bro's but 2 younger sisters...
one is about to start driving and looking for a car... she wants to fix it up.. but to a certain point... women for some reason have good tast in fixing cars up... and if its reeeeaaally ugly then her boyfriend prolly fixed it up for her or its her boyfriends car...
i will prolly show my sister on the right path... dont think shes gonna be a racer, but the least i could do is make it look nice for her...

Wow, mine too. My little bro could care less and thinks I should buy something else instead (thankfully he wants a mustang instead of a civic). My older bro is doing flight for the U.S. Navy and whenever I bring up my car he says his aircraft can do blah blah blah blah blah. I just ignore him after that. He bought a V6 Firebird, so we can't listen to him anyway.
