i was wondering. since im going to be getting some steelies made 16x10 all around for my s13. if my stock dual cam KA would struggle to keep a line when sliding because these wheels are going to be alot wider then the s14 se wheels i have on atm.
or if i should just get 16x9 and 10 or 15mm spacer all around. i want good wheel fitment. but i also want to be able to slide with just ka hehe.
:D

run a smaller tire with alot of psi, you should have no problem
btw: im the guy with the vert, i believe i met you at Adam's.

why so wide? if you want to keep a KA get something that you can spin easily. you dont need that much grip. just get a lower offset.

yea i think i remember, that was i while ago. i blew my clutch that day right?
is it dangerous to daily drive with small tire and high psi though? or will the tire only might slip off when im sliding. idk dumb question but yea just wondering.

^slipping off depends on your rim and tire choice i'd imagine. I'm more of a GT fan so I dont know much about drifting.

I do events with a stock ka on 18x10s. Widened steelies are going to be ridiculously heavy though. So that will probably be a problem.

Higher chance the stretched tire would come off with low psi rather than high.

wide wheels with narrow tires will result in stretching on tires, which will make it easier to slide but shitter to drive on the street.
10mm or 15mm has nothing to do with what you are asking. It will only help with clearance of your suspension components. Also sounds like you dont even have the wheels yet, so purchase the wheels with the right offset and you do not even need to run spacers.

16x8 all around, 195/45 tires all around, 40+ psi in your rear tires.
That should give you what it takes to drift your stock GayA.
Offset to get you sitting good.
+0 Front
-10 Rear
This is on stock fenders of course and a reasonable amount of camber.

thanks!.
now will those tires stretch over the wheels? orwill they fit normally. cuz i want stretch. hah
and lets say i wanted fairly deep negative offset to fit well with rolled out stock fenders.
not sure how wide i would need the wheels with what amount of negative offset.
sorry im pretty noob at wheel fitment
