hey guys im need and am in need of your help. i have an s13 with what i thought where z32 hubs and brakes. the brake calipers are from a z32 however the hubs are not. i stripped a wheel stud a few weeks ago and when i tried to replace it, the z32 wheel studs were too big. i also tried wheel studs from a 5 lug s14 but those were to big as well. the 5 lug conversion was done by a prevous owner. i tracked him down and he could not remember where the hubs came from. he said they might be ichiba but the hubs did not look like the pic i saw. now to be clear on what does not fit the splines on the wheel stud that keep it from moving will not fit into the hub itself. the threads are the same just not the splines.
I called a company to do some research on the wheel studs for ichida and found the the z32 stud is a 12.. mm im assuming, and the ichiba is a 13... mm i am assuming which would be even larger.
my question is, what other hubs can be used on an s13 to change it into a 5 lug. if they are ichibas then does this mean that the will hubs are ment to be placed on an s13 hub and can z32 brake be place on s13 oem spindals. any help or someone who can shed light on this would be greatly apprieated. and i if a pic of the wheel stud will help i can provide it.

This is the most common brake swap, how could you NOT find something?

you make very little sense
you're looking to replace a stripped stud on a hub, correct?
that has nothing to do with z32 brakes since they mount to the upright/spindle
irregardless of whether you're 4 lug, 5 lug or 3 lug.
measure the knurl of the stud and the length and search for the appropriate replacement
edit: run spell check before posting, people will be a lot more willing to help you if you don't come across an an utter retard.

i dont think i was clear. i under stand the brake swap, my problem are the wheel studs. like i said, i have bought every wheel stud for a nissan at the parts store and nun of them fit. i was told by the prevous owner that the hubs might be ichida however they are circular hubs which look different then the pictures that i have seen. i even gave the sizes that the local ichiba dealers gave me.

You really need to do some research. It's more than likely that you have S14 hubs on your car. You need to torque the studs into place, you can't just hammer them in.
There are only 2 possibilities:
S14/S15 or aftermarket for front, and Z32, A31, S14/S15, et. al., or aftermarket for rear.
S14/15 are functionally the same and would require the same hardware. Did you specify S14 SE when you ordered the studs? IIRC there is a difference between them and the S14 base.
Aftermarket is a crapshoot - many utilize OEM components, but some do custom studs or use other OEMs (non-Nissan).

Learn to make a topic-appropriate thread title, plz.

Read the post, it's not about the brakes. It's just an incorrect title.

Everything this man has said. :l101:

You weren't. You titled the thread in such a way that it had zero to do with wheel studs. You also failed to specify front or rear.

Why don’t you just take a good stud out of your hubs and measure it?
:duh:

+this
i had the same issue when installing extended wheel studs and found out the knurls on the rear are smaller then in the front. make sure you specify that you need either rear or front studs cause it does matter.

What a cluster fuck of pure fuck.
1) Front, or rear?
2) Picture of said hub?
3) Is the hub damaged, or just the stud?
There's a shit ton of info you need to provide before people can begin to help you, no one wants to play guess for three pages just to figure what in flying fuck you're talking about.
