I searched this and didnt find anything. I want to lower my fuel tank to locate a small fuel leak that can be seen coming from the top of the fuel tank. When I jacked the car up, I saw that the fuel tank sits on top of the diff. and other rear suspension components they might have to be removed. So I was wondering if the fuel tank could be lowerd with out it being to labor extensive or if I should just take it to a shop and avoid a big headach.
Thanks

Have you checked behind the back seat under that panel for leaks, there is a o ring on top of the tank that can leak after time(sometimes) i would check that out along with the fuel likes going into the tank at the top of it before i would start dropping the tank... just a thought...

Drop the subframe.
Drop the fuel tank.
There's no other way to do it.
