Well I bought some cheap megan springs for my s14 to hold me over till I get some coils. I go to install them and they wont fit in the perches unless you flip them upside down.
If you install them with the letters "megan racing" right side up, the flat part of the spring is on the bottom and it should be on the top like the OEM springs, so the top hat sits flat on top and the tapered end on the bottom for the spring to seat in the perch.
To anybody else that has installed the megan racing springs on there s14, have you done the same thing? Also my front end sits way higher in the front than the rear. I need to cut them atleast one coil to level the car.
