Wow GM's stock plummeted today. I dont even think we can purchase shares right now. Do you guys think at pennies to the dollar it would be worth investing in this once blue chips company? Heck even as a quick buy and sell in the next few weeks or months?

Correct. The stock is tied to General Motors Corporation (aka 'Old GM') which has been renamed Liquidation Motors (hence the ticker initials) and really holds no value.

There is rumor that General Motors Company (aka 'New GM') will release an IPO next year to pay off the U.S. gov't, however as I said...this is just a rumor.

terrible idea. this company is financially broke... it is liquidating assets to pay bond holders.. then once it's done.. it will close and all shares will goto zero.
