It's people like baron and nissanwarrior that are the reason people in our particular niche are getting screwed when it comes time to sell the cars they have built. If he wants to try and sell it for $24,000 then f*ck it let him. It doesn't matter how much you think it's worth at all, it only matters what a potential buyer thinks and if I came onto this thread looking to pay 3 grand and saw you guys bashing his car I probably wouldn't be inclined to offer 3k or even at all. Personally I paid 4 grand for a bone stock 89 sohc coupe. i was happy because it was clean and had 75k miles so for me it was totally worth it.
Furthermore, if you look at his original post it's definitely 3000 worth of car with or without an interior, which on a 20 year old car is probably trashed anyways.

thanks to those who were backing me up. don't worry, i take criticism quite well. but i do believe for what i'm asking, it's more than reasonable. i built this car to be a track car, not a show queen. all it really needs is a nice set of wheels, maybe an aero kit and you will have a pretty decent track car. a deposit has been made and i'm waiting on the buyer to pick it up next week. for those interested, i will PM you back if the car is sold or not.

Good luck trying to find a shell with a sr swap for 3K alone. Not to mention the 5 lug with wheels, and whatever other suspension is on it. If I was looking for a 240, I would get this! totally looks worth it.

nice car glws. trying to sell my car with sr for 3k too. idk why people bash on prices when this is a good deal. when there are other people selling a stock motor s13 for almost just as much.
