man..if he wasnt gonna use his stock taillights..at least put the supra tailights where the stock CRX tailights would be..rather than down next to the exhaust.

and his rear fender flare..could of used bolts but spaced them out evenly

Well by looking at it it's a '89-91 DX.
No way he's using the DX motor- I'm going to guess turbo/B16A1 but it very well could be a built LS.
Probably making 275FRHP:D That car weighs about 2150lbs.

Because once you make that much power and can take 97% of cars on the street you pretty much feel like you can do any bodywork you want. Yeah they can laugh but he gets the pleasure of smoking them.
It's a "different" car- ricers have invaded the Crx boards for years now (Zilvia has nothing to complain about) and it could smoke most of you - more power to him.

awwwww, durn, pics dont show up. and even if it has 275fwhp and weighs 2100 lbs, it couldnt beat all the cars out there from a launch. roll, probably, but then again, I would be suprised if someone who did body mods like what you guys say he did, actually took the time to mod it corerctly and tune it. hell, its probably turbo not for speed, but just so he can say its turbo. I know some cool honda guys, but then again, I go to high school, so I see both sides of the coin.

you show me a FWD car that can launch as hard or fast as rwd or awd, and I will believe you. also, now I can see the pics, and I dont see ANY indication that the car has a single performance part besides a muffler, and knowing the show car crowd, that could very well be a fake FMIC not connected to anything. and I'm not asking dad to buy 80 bucks of tools, I am buying $200 worth on fathers day. and Im going to do the RB because I have the money, 3 months with almost nothing to do, and friends who are more than happy to help. its going to happen, its just a matter of time.

to the poster why call it an amg M3, nothing I can tell is directly off of an AMG Mercedes (which is a lot of mercedes), could be a regular CLK headlights, and any BMW grill.

Anyways ugly car, but the guy must be happy, only thing that is just wrong is the tails, placing is horrible, from a show perspective, and from a functionality perspective. Of course he could just be afraid of SUVs rear ending him and breaking tails.

ahh.. usually im neutral in body mods.. but i really have to say something about this one..

hmm don't really know if its a WRC or GT catagory=).

the intercooler core is real. so turbo is possibility.

and noticed the little guage pod on the hood.. thats not water proof, then again i don't think the car is either.

overall; owner has weird taste. & arent they suppose to paint the car before bring it to the shows?

then again, the hole in the front bumper (near the wheel), he can put a 52mm volt guage so people can see how much power hes running ;)

The guy on the third pic looks like his yelling at the driver. Also on the second pic, the group of people looking at the car looked counfused and scared. I'm don't care if you have turbo, that car looks like crap. You have to be drunk to give that car a award. Maybe "worst of show".

today I saw a Dodge Shadow and it reminded me of that former CRX on the top of this page. Wish I had the digicam. Thought id share.

It was burgundy in color, with those chrome lookin 5 spoke hubcaps, 3 sets of front fog lights, some peel and stick hood scoops (3 of them)side vents on the fenders, windsheild tribal looking banner, seatbelt pads, darkly tinted glass (the front windows were down)

um....you get the idea, the list goes on

so anyhow he pulls up beside me and I couldnt help but to laugh

He had a body kit made out of that stuff your mom does the edging of her flower gardens with...you know, you get it at home depot and it comes on a roll?? You kind of hammer it into the ground? Well this dude has sheetmetal screws attaching it all around his car!
