Got a non-sunroof base model S14. The dome light sucks. Was there an optional map light I can put in?
I know the sunroof versions, have it, but that won't fit my headliner and I don't need the built in sunroof switch.
Change it out for a LED bulb, something that has multiple leds. There was a write up on how to make a board w/ leds for your dome light to have it light up real bright.

I know its kinda taboo and all, but 99-00 Civic SI and some DC2 integra (I believe 4 doors), came with a map light that mounted in between the visors. Its a cheap part from the junkyard, mounts flush, and doesnt require too much depth behind the headliner.

There was an optional map light on non sunroof models, I've only seen one before though, you could order it, cut the headliner, snap it in, wire it up.
