ok so last night i was driven the s14 home from a friends house on the i10 and i went up a bridge..well ya know how the base of the bridge is kind of a bump well i jumped up about an inch of the ground and ass soon as that happened my car lost all power...everything electronic was working but my car jus slowed down as i hit the gas peddle as if the motor wasnt even on but was in gear....i got to the side and tried to start my car and it wouldnt start it jus turned over and did nothing and i tried again a minute later and it sounded like it was on 2 if not 1 cylinder...i doubt i blew my head gasket and i wasnt actin like an ass wit the car and im stumped
im obviously gettin gas bc as i tried to start it was and i could smell gas comin out the exhaust and i could hear my fuel pump
i checked all my fuses and my wire harness in my fender well and nothing is wrong so i hav 2 choices(spark or compression)
im scared shitless that i hav no compression
i need help asap so someone please shed some light

im sure you have compression and all that. I would check your grounds and stuff. make sure your wires are all on and such. also if you have a stereo system and a fuse in line with the amp cable... they come loose once in a while and cause instability in the electronics

Sr's don't have distributors... It's either a loose connection somewhere or your ignitor/CAS took a shit, but I think the CAS is highly unlikely to go dead from a bump.

Just thought I would fix that for you.

I don't understand the title of this thread but oh well. I would definitely check all electronics, do you know if you bottomed out?

ive gotten in the habit of sayin god bless instead of god dammit and the day the 240 died on the interstate it was runnin really really good
anyways im getting spark jus not alot so im thinkin dizzy
i hav a new one but i keep puting the install off
(im really lazy lol
I had the ECS(whatever they call power to the ECU/fuel pump circuit) relay die on my S13 when I hit a pothole in downtown Atlanta. Kinda sucked because I was trying to push it up a slight incline by myself as all these homeless guys were milling around.
Had similar symptoms, no power on the affected circuit, and all fuses were fine.

If you're lower then check your wire harnesses in the front wheel well fenders.
If your car is running on two cylinders find out if you're getting spark on those cylinders.
Do all electronics (lights, radio, brake lights, etc) work?

thats the kick though all the electronics work and all my fuses are fine and my wire harness is uncut
verything is fine but im not gettin much spark which is why i say dizzy

x2 on the cap and rotor, I've had the screw come off the distributor before so it wouldn't spin.

I assumed it was turbo. I know N/A's have a distributor, but who goes through the effort to put a weaker motor than the KA in?
