What do you guys prefer suede or leather material - the suedes would be better controlling wheels right? Also for those with Nardi deep dish how big is the difference in the 350mm and 330mm - noticeable?

Nardi classic 330 black/black.
The best of the best right there.

im not too into the whole wheel thing so ive been satisfied with my 350 momo race and 350 monte carlo...i would argue that any 350mm to 330mm is a big difference...and suede is not my cup of tea...gets really nasty, really fast because lets face it, youre not always driving around in tsuchiya gloves...and if you are, stop...

i would suppose people that are bigger would want a smaller wheel. you should look into the hella baller vertex steering wheels.

suede wears out fast and looks ugly quicker but better grip. leather is better in my opinion unless ur a track only guy or something
330mm and 350mm is deff noticeable. 330 feels like ur driving a little toy car to me
i have one forsale if your interested ;)

I like my Nismo 350mm in leather. Thinking of getting a 330mm and having it wrapped in suede for track use only. :D
Suede is fine if you don't mind wearing gloves every time you drive. Sweat and oils from your hands will wear down the suede pretty quick. Leather is best for a daily driver.

i want a nismo wheel but ended up getting a personal neo eagle instead. i like it a lot but that nismo wheel is what i really want. the only place i found that had it was kinda unknown so i didn't take the chance. mind letting me know where you got yours?

I had a Vertex wheel not too long ago.
Not my cup of tea. Felt really light and cheap for some reason.
Had a Nardi Classic 350mm first. Pretty good.
Now, have two Nardi Deep Corn 350mm wheels in leather(one for the daily, one for the project).
Absolutely love them.

What's the rage about deep corns? I find them uncomfortable and odd looking. I really prefer the flat spoke design.

I've always been a 350mm guy, feels like more control than a 330 go-kart steering. Leather is good too. Deep/flat doesn't matter to me, so long as the wheel is the right distance from me.

A birdie told me that I might be getting one for Christmas! Anyways, I prefer leather to suede (unless it's a full on track car and you're wearing gloves). And for me I prefer the smaller wheel...Dish is not a big factor just as long as it's not right in my chest.

I'm more of a 350mm guy. (DD car)
but for me, its not just the wheel that does it, its part of the entire setup I have as far as my position in the car. I'm 6'1", so heel toe can be an issue on a stock seat/wheel setup (my knee hits the back of the wheel too often.
short hub/quick release
nardi perf. leather 350mm (feel great and won't look like shit like suede will after a few years of use)
recaro speed seat.
a dished wheel will def effect you're seating position, even without a quick release, so keep that in mind when you shop around.
Just for reference, the stock wheel is about 360mm.
i like dished wheels since im tall.
using a sparco 325 right now. 350 mil.

LOL all you guys talking about 350mm wheels, if its a Nardi classic leather your running its a 360mm.
350mm leather Nardi Classic's were never sold in the U.S. I had one I got it used from Japan.
I found it in a box of over 30 360mm classics.
I sold it not realizing how rare it was, and that I could not buy one new here. LOL oh well.
The deep corns are availible in 350mm, but I like DreamN do not like them.
350mm is my favorite size. 330mm feels to small to me.
Steering wheels are a personal thing. Which means just because I like it, does not mean you will like it.
In the end you have to figure out if you like it. You will be the one using it.

I ran a Nardi deep corn 330 for a short while. I hated it. I could never go anything bigger/smaller than a 350.
Next wheel I plan on getting is a Vertex once I go grab it. Feels shitty? Personally I didn't think so. Aren't they the same as Keys racing wheels?

all black nardi 330 in leather is probly the best steering wheel i've ever had
also had one of those jdm steering wheels in pink, not so bad, it just dents and cracks.
also driven my buddies car with the mooneyes in white, not so bad, just feels like the wheel itself is a lil skinny, maybe its just my big hands : \

Sorry, but what's the point of an aftermarket steering wheel on a street driven car?
I like my stock steering wheel, I think almost all aftermarket steering wheels look ricey as hell.. It's nice and safe if I ever get into an accident :)
oh wait.. this is zilvia.. nvm! a 300 mm steering wheel (because your so big and buff) will look ballar as hell with your supermade body kit and 19x10 wheel with 185s stretched onto them.. don't worry about stock sr20 with a fmic and painted valve cover, your glitter 2-tone paint will make all the ladies gizz their pants:ghey: don't forget that ballin' roll cage!

Its cause we're still trying to keep up with the Jones's. Cars are just another fashion accesory we use to compare peepee sizes and wallet sizes....
In our case, the more baller the part the larger the member, the deeper the wheel lips equals the larger wallet.

Well, shit head, my stock steering wheel from 1993 was almost as big of a piece of shit as you have made yourself out to be.
The foam was separated from the metal core and it would twist in my hands. This made even (GASP!) daily driving dangerous at times.
For this reason I switched out for a different wheel. The first that came available to me was a 330mm Nardi Classic through a friend. It now resides on my car, with my authentic OEM Nissan Aero, and my 18x10/18x9 wheels.
Now, pull your head out of your ass, and your foot out of your mouth, and SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Does anyone know what size the stock 240 wheel is ? im looking into a wheel and QR because ive found getting in and out of my car is alot worse now with a racing seat in there. but i like the size and feel of the stock wheel maybe about 10mm smaller is ok but nothing smaller.
advice?
NRG QR hub and what wheel..i like classic non rice looking stuff something thats low key and matches right witha black interiour .. as well as leather would be nice to since swade will wear out and look funky after a while..
oh and why do alot of wheels look like they stick out so far from the steering column..like driving with them it would be in your chest.. im 6\0 and sit pretty far back i suppose..
advice?
