How's it goin guys, Just bought a 1992 240sx, I also have a rb25det sitting in my garage that im swapping into it. Had a few questions about the diff, just gettin into 240's so im not really familiar with the meaning of a welded diff, so can someone help me out? And do you guys recommend I put a LSD in? If not what should I do? Any help is appreciated thanks

This is probably the wrong section, this should be asked in the tech section. Welded is good for drifting on a budget. If you're swapping an RB25 into it though, I would get a tomei or kaaz LSD. The RB25 has a lot of torque so if you get a welded that isn't so strong sometimes, it could break a lot faster and screw a lot more up.

The meaning of a welded diff, just pretty much means both wheels will spin at the exact same amout of speed all the time. Which in turn makes it much easier to slide, a bit dangerous (but predictable) in the rain.
