I have a stock sway bar and an sr with the stock oil pan for now. I am going to be buying a tomei or moroso oil pan soon and i am trying to figure out how to get my sway bar to sit further away from the pan without raising the car.

When i had the car set at a decent height the sway bar was far away from the pan so this worries me that when i hit a bump it will be bashing into my pan while i'm driving.

Is there any custom end links that could fix this? Or is there any other sway bars that would sit differently? Ive been thinking of cutting and welding in more solid steel to move that crossbar towards the front of the car. However that will be a last resort and hope to find a better solution.

Sorry for the mediocre pics:aw:

I really dont want to stay with my stock pan :/ i wonder how it feels to run no sway bar. There has to be someone that makes end links that actual correct this.

geez that's close..is your car really low or something? i have the same setup and mine is normal distance..

if it were me, I'd test to see if a longer/shorter sway bar end link would correct this...THEN i'd see if i can find an end link kit somewhere that's the same length.

Where do they sell different size endlinks for the stock sway bar?

autozone has the energy suspension endlinks in different sizes.. you could also put washers under the d brackets to space it down if it helps with the clearance. not sure what kind of effects doing either will have on how the sway bar will peform.

Oh they do? I havent looked for that yet thanks ill have to check them out. I researched even more and found Daft Innovations sells a sway bar spacer kit which is usually used for JZ and lsx swaps.. I will most likely be going that route. A few other companies make them too but Daft has the best price.

Why not get Nismo motor mounts or something? The ones for the CA18 raise it up the most iirc.

I have cusco motor mounts, they are solid yeah. I know that sikky makes some different sway bars also. SPL does make end links but they are like $200 and i havent heard or seen how they work.

My Sony camera just failed big time.

I tried to take pics of my similar problem in my old S13.

I had stock oil pan on a S13 SR20DET with a 27mm whiteline adjustable swaybar with the same problem. i have a 1/4"+ dent in the stock pan and i had a problem with the endlinks binding in any possible adjustment.

Shorter end links will resolve your problem just unsure of the length needed.

Slightly buzzed and not sure if this helps but GL!!

BTW I had Nismo motor mounts and my car sat fairly low.

All input is good input +1 for being buzzed and posting on zilvia. This place could really use more of that.

Hey man, Have not had a chance to install them yet ive been really busy. I will be hopefully getting them in next week. The quality of them is AMAZING and i will definitely take pictures after the installation so everyone can see them and what they do.

Thanks again!
