because you dont have a turbo yet :D i dunno really, i would think it would help... but maybe because of limited space?

First of all this would not help you much... if you want to mount electric fans anywhere you should mount them on your radiator.
Yes yes and because you DON'T have turbo is another reason... hahaha I loved your confession!!!

The cold side of my FMIC is always cold...even on hot days. I can see the theory but it's not very practical. The 2-3hp you may gain from it will probally be lost from the fans draining power. Doesn't really make much sence. I thought about it and then did the math (for the SMIC) and realized that the negatives would negate all positives. Plus I am already running two 12" fans anyway.
Now, if you were to find a pratical way to drop the intake charge by 20 degrees I will listen.;)

Well since a fans main purpose is to draw air through the bay during idling, an intercooler fan wouldn't raise hardly any power. The only benefit I can imagine is possibly a slight boost in low end torque after a long idle since the i/c wouldn't have to cool down after the car begins to roll and air begins flowing through it.
SO..if you have a bad tendency to idle forever letting your i/c heat up before you decide to do a full throttle run down the road with intentions to be at your maximum speed......maybe you should consider it.
OTHERWISSEEE....do as the rest of the turbo'd world and let the i/c take care of itself.
But very inventive idea.....:D
