Hi guys,

I got an S14 SR20DET in my S14 and the alternator is going slowly.

Well the top part of the connector is half falling apart and it's not charging to the max 11.5 when cold and 13.5 running.

I was wondering if the KA alternator would fit.

I've heard
a) It doesn't fit
b) It fits
c) It fits with a little fitting

Anyone know the answer I would appreciate it very much!

Thanks again!
Dev

Anyone knows where I could find an answer if it's not on here?!

Because i've tried on club240.com and 240sx.org and here without an answer! I read all the FAQ's and still have no clue!

Take the KA alt. thin out the one of the mounting flanges so it will bolt on to the bracket easier. On the top side, drill out the threaded hole, to mount the pulley.

ohhh, yah. use the 95 - 98 alt. its a 90amp same as the sr20. Compared to the 89 - 94 80amp output.
