1998 Honda Prelude Base
PRICE DROP:
$4,800 OBO!
Fairly negotiable!

MOTOR:
- h22a4
- Just under 152,000 miles
Runs Strong, no mechanical issues at all, never over-heated
Timing belt and all undermotor seals/gaskets changed at 125k
Valve cover gasket, cam-end seal, and vtec solenoid seal/screen all replaced less than 2k miles ago
Greddy-Evo 2 Exhaust, custom 2.5" piping with performance resonator *cut factory exhaust available with purchase
As of about 3 months ago, leaks oil from oil filter hub, with leak and normal h22 oil consumption the car requires an added quart to quart and-a-half per month
- Automatic transmission: Tip Tronic shift
Rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago
Shifts smooth and clean always
Slight leak from a bad seal, never runs low though, haven't had to add fluid at all and its been leaking for 2 months
- Cruise control works great
- A/C works great

EXTERIOR:
- Eucalyptus Green Pearl
Paint still in great condition
Small chips and dings around the car from debris and whatnot, normal with an 11-year-old
A few scrapes in the paint on the rear bumper from being bumped into, never a dent from it at all though and the paint was buffed off/waxed
The car was rear ended a separate time two months after I bought it and had to have the bumper and trunk replaced all done by an Acura dealership, but the over-all damage was minimal
- Window sills on both sides painted black after deterioration of rubber
- 18" Wheels
Enkei, unknown style
Kumho tires added less than 9k miles ago with plenty of tread left

INTERIOR:
- Tan/black LEATHER interior
Great condition, nearly flawless, only a few wear spots on drivers seat
- Power windows, locks, moonroof
- Alpine head unit

Pretty much all receipts available from purchases/work done. I've had the car for just over 3 years now and absolutely love it, but got laid off from my job a few weeks ago and need a downgrade to stay afloat. It's something I was considering anyways since my insurance kills me with this car.

Feel free to ask any questions!
Plenty of pics below

Again, the price is $4,800 OBO!
Fairly negotiable!!!

still waiting for a new happy owner.. auto preludes were the 2nd production cars after porsche 911 to feature auto sport shift technology. so aside from a strong line jump your manual control is all the same but much smoother and quicker. this tranny was rebuilt 12k ago so any reputations of honda a/t dependability must be overlooked...
