I have REALLY bad night time vision and a problem with lights and glare. I can see unlit objects very well but feel like my glasses are taken off when I see an oncoming car or tail lights. I have AR/glare coated lenses but they don't do enough. I am sure I am not the only person who has difficulty with nightvision. Vision is 20/15 during the day and when looking at the road/sidewalk/etc in the car, I recognize its an issue with my eyes.
I keep my glass very clean, put a coat of aquapel, have a tint banner on top (and the sides/rear. but it did not do the trick.
I don't want to black out my windshield or anything obviously illegal from the outside. very light tinting is ok for tradeoff if not obvious.
Is there some sort of product similar to the AR coating on my glasses I could apply to my windshield? maybe an optically clear polarizing film? what other things have people done to help with similar issues?
