I'm planning on doing the swap and I can't decide which I rather do, a Nissan titan VK or the VQHR from the 07' 350Z,
I'm looking for a little input from the masses on what they think before I spend gobs of money, Now before someone says why not do a LS1 I want to keep my options within the nissan family.
Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

VK56 is a very wide engine. I know people have put VH45's in our cars I do not think anyone has attempted the VK56. The first thing I would is find a Titan and measure the width from the edge of each head across to the other. Then measure your engine bay.
As far as the VQHR goes its a bad ass engine and it will fit in. That is the swap I am working on, as soon as my car comes out of paint.

vq35hr is fun! I have an 08 Z and its pretty damn quik for a stock NA v6. Have you looked into buying one? I never see them for sale and when I do they are pretty expensive compared to the vq35de's

I'm getting a fairly good deal on the package cause the guys just trying to get rid of his HR setup he wrapped his Z around a pole :-/, there's also a shop in the area with several of the REVUP motors'...
the VK was like this random joke that made everyone really think for a second and say hmmmm maybe?
I just wanted a little more input before we spent the money

Do not touch a REVUP engine with a ten foot pole. LOL those were the engines that had oil consumption issues. VQ35HR out of a 2007 or 2008 is the engine to get . It also came in G35's in 2007 and 2008 as well.

notice the date when he started.
VK has no manual transmission...
the swap is not worth it IMO, when you have more options ( even non-nissan LS1 )
VK he had to cut his transmission tunnel, firewall, and make a custom intake manifold.
If you want to go nissan v8 go VH, or VK45DE *never done that I know of ( used in JGTC/SuperGT, nissan replaced a GTR engine with this ) "Nismo reasons that by using the engine, they eliminate turbo-lag, save weight and generally prefer the torque curve of the atmospheric V8."
If you are deciding on VQ's stay away from the rev-up :eek3d:, go VQ35DE or VQ35HR, or haha VQ37VHR ( G37/370z engine )

Yeah we sat down today and talked about dimensions...
It would require a considerable amount of custom work involving the Trans tunnel so we decided to go VQHR.
I'll keep you guys updated and post pics of everything as we go.
