I can't weld anything. I was thinking of sanding the rust out and placing fiberglass on from the top side. Do I have to prime before fiberglass? thanks.

BTW, are there any inexpensive spoilers that would fit like the stock spoiler to cover this crap up?

1. I just put red duct tape on it. I have to replace it every month!
2. Buy a wingless trunk
3. Grind the rust off and weld sheet metal to it?
4. Option 3 but with bondo instead of welding.
I don't know of a wing that would but the leaking still may occur

I would think that fiberglass to metal is not going to adhere really well. The bondo will probably start cracking eventually from the expansion and contraction during the year.

Best thing to do imo is get someone to weld some metal in there and grind it down yourself then bondo over it, sand it flush, and paint.
