spring turns on strut

hey everyone. i'm having a problem which i did google and use the good ol search button. but my problem is, i just replaced my bad right front strut mount. and now with it all back together, and everything torqued to specs, when i turn the wheel to the right then start turning the wheel back the spring turns and pops on the strut.
i'm pretty sure it's something stupid i forgot to do or left out, but i'd appreciate any help.

i was figureing my frame was just tweaked

solved. i didn't have the groove on the top hat on the side away from the wheel, so i took it back apart and turned it. so far so good.

also, my old strut mount (passenger side) was destroyed and i could acually see it was bad while on the car. it was causing a popping noise, and a rumble noise when turning left. the harder the turn, the louder.
