Good question, Can someone take this question if S13 stock front caliper fit S14 5-lug hub and rotor?

I know the rear caliper works fine.

Please help...

yes, your stock calipers will work fine.

you will need to get an s14 ball joint for you front lower control arms.

my advice- get em from pdm racing. ball joints are like 45 bucks each, pdm has them with new control arms, for 50 each, and you get new control arm bushings.
you could even upgrade to poly control arm bushings, new control arms, and the s14 ball joints, all with one component....

Thank you all for your offers.

For the 5 -lug swap, I cannot do $400 shipped. Shipping itself is about $80.

SilviaDriver, $350.00 for a pair of SSR mesh with tires. It's a very good deal. What offset are they?

I bought mine (a pair) at Alta, socal, for $650 with crappy tires. I was told the lower the offset is, the more expansive they are. Mine with 3 inch lip fit on a S13 very well, but I need to roll the fenders for clearance. It looks flush and I think this is the maximum lips I can get for the rear without flares.

All sale are moving to ebay soon starting at a $1.00 with no reserve.

Alta told me different. The width of the rim, anything higher than 7J gets more expensive. At any rate, alta prices have gone up.

It makes sense. Wider rims=more metal=more expansive. Also they (above 7J) are harder to find.

For mesh style rims, lower offset=more lip=perhaps more expansive.

I like Alta because you can try the rims on. Are there any other shop similar to Alta in west coast?

For S13 owner, S14 balljoints are needed to press into S13 LCA. S14 balljoints are about $50.00 a pair at Autozone or local auto shops.

For S14 owner, these all you need.

Is it OK to open a new thread, since this one is too long? Hopefully, doesn't confuse anyone

If they don't sell on Ebay, would you be willing to sell just the hub-and-lugs part of the 5-lug swap?

If so, how much?
If not, that's fine and I won't be surprised at all. It's mighty different from your original sale.

jamesc89, alta is only located in SoCal, as far as I've heard. AFAIK, only Wheelchoice have a website and ship, alta (last I checked) did not.

what johnny said about price/offset is generally true with most rwd wheels -- lower offset = higher price. wider the wheel also typically = higher price, not because of material costs but because of availability. 15*6.5 is easy to find. 15*8 is harder! (Same goes for offset; -1mm offset is harder to find than +40mm offset on a 15*7 wheel.)

These days, I have to admit, $400/pair of good offset (read: less than +15mm) SSR Reverse mesh is somewhat reasonable. You'd be hard pressed to find them for any cheaper!

johnny, you have email. let me know if you (still) want the hub!
