ok now ive done it, i shook my lava lamp

i shook my lava lamp, now there's all these small bubbles and it looks whack. I hear u can put salt in it and it will go down? Some people say it will go away after a while. anyone know how i can fix this?

Usually mine would get better when you just turn it off and let it re-solidify. Should be fine and dandy after that.
