hey !
i'm new on the forum ! it's really nice to see a bunch of people with lots of knowing to help !
i'm french so.. i'll do my best !

i'm a new owner of a silvia ca18det 1990
previously i had a toyota mr2 1992 lightly modded ( approx 270hp) and i sold it . now i'm in silvia!
nice car, but what about the power?

here is the mods on the car
''apparamently a t28 turbo ''( how to confirm this??)
tein full coilover camber plate etc, tein conrol arm , ( car is really low and stiff i love )
DP+full exaust blitz nur spec
air intake hks with adapter
greddy s bov
ecu blitz
hks HG
kazz 2 way diff
stock boost, maybe 9 psi on cold temps

ok now the probleme
it's damn slow.
ultra lag
. car make no power until 4krpm, only psi before 4krpm, and after it goes to 7-9 psi,
even a 7psi , it's seem slow like a have a leak. but i'm sure there is no leak.
sometime car run great and power is nice , but is more ofter slow...

maybe it's me, compare to my mr2, fast, quick spoot ( 16 psi @2500rpm), etc. but im sure , there is something wrong with my CA!

today i put new spark plug, and planned to change de gaz filter..
it can't be bad !!

so if someone could help me please !!!!

mat..
tks!

Have you checked your coilpacks?
In my CA they will sometimes kick in and out.

when the car is running, unplug one at a time. you should notice a change in how the engine runs. If nothing changes when you unplug one, then the coilpack is dead and that cylinder isn't firing.

On my CA, one of my coilpacks would just randomly cut-out, and then kick back in. Never did find out why.

ok thanks, but i dont thinks the coilpack is the probleme, because the car run great, boost and eveything seem to be ok ,
but just. no power as expected, huge lag..

no rough idle.
no low vaccum..

Sounds like a boost leak somewhere.

Start by pulling codes off the ECU

Could be timing, should be around 15* degrees stock.

Have you even pulled the plugs to look at them?

the plug are new from yesterday

ecu code, I run a blitz ecu , will it show me something?
i have no cel light on the cluster

could i be running way to rich?

i cost me 40$ to make approx 250 kilmeters

Check your timing, then check for boost leak. Pressurize the system and make sure you dont have a boost leak.
