My S13.4 Build Bring on the hate.

So i parted the car (http://zilvia.net/f/#) out and told myself i would take a break form drifting for a while and come back later. Well the time has come and im on my way back. So now its time to let the cat out of the bag. The reason for the hate that will be coming. The set up.

Why? Well mostly because i already had it and it is fully built.

High Torque? Yes. I plan on making 700hp and around 725 to 750 torque and then de-tune to around 575hp

As for the coilovers, Im sorry im not alowed to say anything about them. The only thing i can say is that they go super super low and they might be selling them sometime in the middle of next year.

Thanks and yes this will be a drift car. Hopefully run some of formula d in the 2011 season maybe the end of 2010 season but i would have to get real lucky

Crazy, I never knew that those motors were that good. All I hear about them is about blown headgaskets. Props on something original though, without going and doing something stupid.

I had a D-50 for a shorttime. It was the biggest POS i have ever owned and it further embedded my hatred for DSM's. That motor(G54B) is so fail its not even funny. Mitsu REALLY manufactured a shitty motor and I say its a bad choice for a power plant. The aluminum they used for those motors is so cheap coolant corrodes them. GL either way but i bet the motor will give you problems. The rest of the car looks great.

I think you are talking about the Sakura (SAKURA MOTORSPORTS HOME PAGE (http://www.sakuramotorsports.com/)) it all started in Puerto Rico i while ago but they are Florida now. That car was amazing during the time it was alive (mid 80s to mid 90s if i don't recall bad). It was a work of art. Look under the Sakura racing link and then on Sakura 4cyl at your left. There would be all the specs for that car. Best 1/4 mile ET 7.48 @ 176.3 miles.

I am not a big fan of these kind of mix, but keep on going with the build, it is a good build thou!!

I just used the few mounting points that lined up. Still need to make 2 more for the bottom. As for the seat, its just big up top. Nice and snug down low.

No S14 dashes were harmed in the making of this project. Well not yet. So no i didnt have to shave the dash. As for car updates. I have none right now. Saving money for the high dollar parts. But soon ill have some stuff to post

Ok well let’s just start from the top.

The big fitting on the top is the fill for the surge tank. I made it -10 so it will cool and extra sick in any photo shoots.

The next one down on the side is the return from the fuel pressure regulator. Goes to the tank to help fill the tank.

The next one down is the return from the surge to the fuel tank. Cant over fill the surge tank.

And then the bottom. That’s the feed to the main fuel pump witch I don’t have yet.

Ok well let’s just start from the top.

The big fitting on the top is the fill for the surge tank. I made it -10 so it will cool and extra sick in any photo shoots.

The next one down on the side is the return from the fuel pressure regulator. Goes to the tank to help fill the tank.

The next one down is the return from the surge to the fuel tank. Cant over fill the surge tank.

And then the bottom. That’s the feed to the main fuel pump witch I don’t have yet.

Ok. So I have had some more time to play with the car and spend more money that I don’t really have. So the Haltech Platinum Sport 1000 is on its way.:boink: Or at least I hope it is. I paid for it Wednesday so will just have to wait and see. Or maybe ill just call tomorrow and get a tracking #, yeah that sounds better. I also bought with the ECU an Areomotive A1000 fuel pump, and some more fittings and filters for the pumps. I also went back to my good friend Juan (BARDABE PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT) and had my headlights mounted and intercooler mount. It will go back next week to get the intercooler mount finished and an oil cooler mount and a bash bar.........I think I might put some big spikes in the bash that stick through the bumper. Yeah. If you ever run in front of me just make sure you don’t spin or I might have to ram you with the spikes. :axe:Ok well anyways enough of me talking let’s get to some pics.

I'm half surprised you didn't go with the Magna intake manifold. Regardless, I'd like to see the outcome of this HP wise, as would I'm sure the majority of starquestclub.

Nice build. Personally, I would've sold this engine to a Starion owner who is in desperate need of a new engine, then built up a CA18 or SR20 from scratch to meet the HP requirements you're after. Good luck though, I'm sure it'll turn out well.

that surge tank should have a baffle inside to keep cooler fuel at the bottom... fuel temps can get to be a big deal when the fuel in ht esurge tank is put under pressure over and over again (since it returns to the surge tank from the FPR)
