I am not in the market right now for an in car camera but don't forget about the contourHD also.

Both look pretty good and both have pros and cons.

The go-pro HD is wide. They are just calling it go-pro HD. It comes with a 170 deg lens at 720/960 and 127 deg at 1080.

Thanks. I guess I missed that when I was checking out the site last time.

I may pick on of these up after the Holidays.

The problem is it's confusing half the sites list it as pro HD and others pro HD wide.

I think this is a great cam and will most likely get one but right now with winter coming I have no need until spring.

I friend of mine has one and it's pretty sweet, not to mention robust because it's been through some hellish experiences, but I don't think his is the widescreen HD one...

More that likely though, I'd look into getting one through a group buy if it were worth it.

A friend won one of these at the D1 event in Chicago. Here is some footage from the go pro. This is straight raw footage, no editing has been done. TT teaser on Vimeo (http://vimeo.com/5989787)

If the price is right, I will deff buy it. Hell if its a good deal cheaper than anywhere else ill most likely buy it. I already have a regular gopro wide and i love it.

i've been wanting one, but i can already get it low priced from a friend of mine that deals Go-Pro products.

i'd be down if you can get it cheaper than $200.00 shipped, though.

Ahhh makes more sense now. Google "GoPro HD Night" and you'll find some vids on YouTube. Seems as long as there is some light the cam will work fine.
