Testing waters...
Panasonic Lumix GH1 with kit lens and extras - $1500
What's included:
• Panasonic GH1 w/kit lens in original packaging and accessories.
- approx. video hour usage: 16
- approx. photo clicks: 100? (Shot timelapse in video mode not stills.)
• Two OG Panny GH1 batteries
• Two 16gb Patriot SDHC cards
• One Canon FD adapter
• One JJC intervalometer (for timelapse footage)
I'm keeping my Canon lenses.
The camera works awesome, no problems, no damage, never dropped or exposed to extreme conditions yet (snow, cold, rain, dusty, etc)...thinking about selling because clients have requested for "real" pro gear so I'm considering the HPX170. Sure I can rent but it's such a hassle dealing with the rental process. I prefer grabbing my gear from the comfort of my home and going straight to the shoot.
I'd love to keep the GH1 as a b-roll cam but need all the cash I can get especially with my wedding coming up.
Here's a link to footage I shot with the GH1. Please pardon the crappy reel, boring editing, lack of color grading and weak illustrations. I threw this reel together in a few minutes for a school project. It's not my official show reel.

GH1 footage from 1:46 shot with the GH-1 kit lens and no ND filters.
GH1 footage from 2:45 shot with Canon FD 50mm wide open at f1.8
Everything else was shot on my Sony SR12 or Canon HF10.
