I love my buddy club spec 2, it sounds amazing on my sr, deep rumble sound, isnt ricey at all... if you wanted to quiet it up, put a cat on it and that could help... but i love how it sounds....

Drove with a NurSpec on a hatch for years
excellent note, love the exhaust
took it off/sold it because the canister stood out too much and police
figured out what an SR is.

I've had a Nur-Spec on my S14 for about 4 years.
Had it painted in flat black for subtlety.
I like the sound & looks.
But honestly I think it's going to be a bit of a cop magnet.
Just got my first exhaust ticket (in 4 years) a month ago.
Not that bad considering only 1 ticket, AND I have a BOV, but still it sucks.
I will be getting rid of my Nur Spec exhaust soon.
Honestly its not that bad w/ the silencer on, but it does present some degree of risk.
You also have to figure the canister type exhausts are visually attention grabbing,
regardless of how audibly loud they may be.

I've had one for about 2 years now and I love it. My only complaint was the ground clearance issue with the resonator. After tearing/repairing holes in it, I contacted Blitz USA and was able to snag a returned 80mm WRX mid pipe for $20 BRAND NEW and have since welded it in place. Needless to say, the decibel levels are quite higher, but its still the same deep throaty note. I live in GA and have never been questioned about my exhaust, no matter what I've been pulled over for. Sucks for you guys!

i like the sound of it, nice and deep, robust. i dont like the shape of it tho. its not too loud if you live in an area where cops are nazi's about modifications. if you romp on it tho, its going to be loud and you will attract unwanted attention. you never said if you have an SR or KA or anything. slap it on anything but a turbo car, and just like the other brands, its gonna be loud as shit on an NA car.

i've had the blitz on my n/a s14 for almost a year now, out of all the exhausts i've had on the car i like the sound of this one the most. yeah it is loud, but the tone is nice.
gives the car more bark. then it's bite haha

I have a Blitz Nur Spec in my old S14 in the states for over 6 yrs. I fucking loved that exhaust. Nice deep tone bar none. I've only got 2 gripes about it. First is ground clearance, my car was low enough that the axle flange would catch freeway reflectors when I change lane. 2nd was, I broke a couple of hangers. It wasnt due to the welding but the metal being too thin. It ended up ripping a piece of the exhaust when it broke. Basically, exhaust shop just welded a thick tab over the hole and rewelded the hanger back on top of it.
Anyways, eventually the exhaust was pretty beat up. Resonator started looking like a D and slowly lost its capability to muffle shit down. I had the resonator cut out and replaced by a 3 inch pipe and the thing actually got quiet.
After this, I've had 3 more exhaust. Ive had a Greddy Evo exhaust, a Buddy Club II and now has an Apexi GT Spec...I still like my Nur Spec better.

completely dependent on what engine you have. NA will be quite a bit louder than turbo. Most japanese exhausts will be borderline too loud on the KA because they were designed with the SR in mind.

You are only half right. SR did kind of quite the exhaust down, but the turbo plays a big part too. I had a single cam with Blitz Spec R on it and compare to S14unimog's SR with Blitz Spec R, the tone is different and noise level are different over all rpm range. Keep in mind that this exhaust is not JASMA'ed, so it is going to be loud anyways.
And Blitz did not design the exhaust for SR. They design the piping for the S-chassis and the muffler and resonator are more like a off the shelf item. Nobody is going to make an exhaust for some engine.
