This is a drift/race car. I’ve driven it on the street, and loved it, but there is no radio/AC/Heat. I’m in no rush to sell, however priorities are slowly changing and this might be the right to time to sell for me. The car has a clean title, and was smogged before the SR, and IL will not smog it again due to it being a 1992.
There is virtually no rust on the car. The underside was completely stripped, patched, primed and painted prior to being on the road. The notorious rusting frame rails were in decent shape before the overhaul, but we cleaned, patched and boxed them in before painting to be safe. The engine bay and underside of the car is painted a matte black. The engine bay is not perfect due to changing parts and chips, but far better than 99% of the 240s out there.
The aluminum interior has wear in the driver’s foot well and in the trunk from carry items to the track.
I’m currently replacing the engine harness in the car, due to some rubbing, but that will be taken care of. The car will need a tune for high boost, as it’s only tuned to 12psi currently. The car has always ran 100octane.
Price for the car, bumper repaired & painted, wired, tuned, and second set of rims. $21,500.00
Price for the car with cracked bumper, wired, and silver RPF1s. $19,500.00
I realize this is definitely on the expensive side when it comes to drift/race cars, however there are few to no cars like it with this attention to detail. Car is located near Chicago, IL.
