man that is a seriously light s14. Awesome! It's gonna be hard to get to that 2300 mark.. lightest s14 I've ever even heard of was about 2400lbs.. Good luck! Do you have a plan for this diet? Fiberglass body panels? Lexan windows? Tube frame engine bay?
nice. my s14 weighed in at 2620 lbs. that was with full interior and everything. i have a base model w/o lsd and power door. and that was w/o me in the car, heh. so that would mean you shaved 100 lbs from what you did. wow... that's pretty sweet.

yes i am looking into fiberglass/carbon fiber body panels...that will be my project for next season....right now i am lightening the trunk lid by removing all hinges and inside supports and adding hood pins and latches to secure it..i am trying to find a nice carbon fiber hood with no vents (imo they dont look right) the lexan is an idea but mainly just for quarter windows in back and rear window possibly because i do drive this car everyday to work...after the next race, i would like to remove the front bumper cover and try to lighten up the bumper or possible remove it and add some aluminum braces or something? i have already made the basic forms for the tube frame front engine mounts but that might not get done till this winter, thats quite a project
