My s13 build thread

I started working on this car in march, but I am just getting around to putting some pictures up. Its a 90 silver hatch, its a hardtop, it does have electric windows, but everything else is pretty much base model. there is zero rust, there was a little quarter panel damage, but it wasnt too serious, no frame damage whatsoever. It has an uncracked dash too. I got the car from a guy who lives a couple hours away, I gave him 300 for it, and he even brought it to my house for free.

here we go this is my buddy dane, he was disconecting the ac, and didnt want to get sprayed, lol

dont worry in ten years your leak will be healed. the ozone layer replaces depleated ozone naturally in about ten years...

they sent me a type x motor with the wrong ecu, so it didnt run... took me a LONG time to figure that out.. then i tried to repin the harness, and it would turn over and idle, but the fuel pump wouldnt turn on, so i hot wired it, then it would run but didnt run right, so i bought a wiring specialties harness, didnt fix my problem, the guy at wiring harness specialties said i probably friend the ecu, so i got a new one, and it fixed my problem. I have now been driving the car as my dd for the last month or so..

what e.c.u. you runnin my blacktop came with j4 obd2, doesnt get spark. i tried e5 ecu and third coil and ignitor gets hot as fuck, awaiting a #62 to pop up for cheap. you runnin #62 ecu?

I think its a 62. Get a premade harness and run a red top ecu.. fuck type x motors lol

Don't plug the red top ecu into the j4 harness it will fry it.. at least that was my experience
