hey guys my name is christian - i have been on the board for a few years now -- but never decided to do business over it what i do is recycle catalytic convertors

1 a factory 240sx cat has i believe has 3 - 4 lines going across - well side to side each is considered a 1/4 biscuit i believe-- so this is how i pay
if convertor is full it should be 3 inches from either side of where the flange bolts are -- any less than that will be paid based on 1/4 1/2 3/4

i do not want aftermarket convertors - these have cheezy heat shields and or will say walker or CA/TA somewhere on it and may have a weld on the pipe -
i also buy old junk fuel injectors for .25 each or 3$ on vortec spiders
i also buy keyless remotes -- no 07-08 stuff mercedez high end car ones- and they must have perfect unlock and lock symbols 1$ each

Anyone can get more just by taking it into a scrap yard, This past sat me and Kenny and Chris from zilvia took some stuff to clean up. The recycle place gave us 90$ for 1 OEM Nissan converters. They say early 90's import converters are worth a bit. I posted this on a local car fourm and they said I could of recieved more for it from another place that pays 100+ for them. I can really care less I was happy they even gave me that much.

Its obvious you take the cat pay 50$ for them and then take it to another place and try make a profit.

^ yeah I'm with this guy. You can get more by taking it in yourself. I guess maybe for the lazy people, but what 240 guy would pass up a chance to make double on what your offering just to get off there arse and recycle it themselves.
