your prob grounding somewhere that's what it sounds like because sometimes the instillation rubs off on the wire and makes contact and grounds out its is also prob just a coincidence that it happened at the same time as you put Ur tt in.

ThaNks for the quick replies..thE only reason I put a bigger fuse in was cus it was late and I was at a friends house and needed to drive home and the cops in my area are dicks and will pull any modified car over for anything..

But I'll check my grounding point again and just move it to a other spot..oh idk if this helps but everything is tucked under the steering column..I'm sure that's where most people leave it right? Anyways thanks for the help

certain guage wires can only handle so much current before they start to get hot enough to melt the the shielding. If anything use a slightly smaller fuse in an emergency.

just realize something..all this was happening BEFORE I put the turbo timer in..my gf just reminded me today that my headlight went out before..so idk what could be the problem..

your fucking dumb if you put a bigger fuse in there. you were liable to blow all the electronics associated with that fuse and could have even started a fire.

good one

you have a short somewhere in your wiring. bad connection/splice whatever. go back and review your connections and see if anything is messed up or loose

Yeah but I just remembered that all this started happening before the turbo timer..and everything was fine..it just blew out one day..and ever since then, (a week ago) it started blowing out aftr 1 minute of driving

New info!!!!!!!!

I just remembered when this started happening!!!

I have some 18x10+18 rims up front and when I make a fast turn or if I'm turned and go up a bump/driveway kinda fast, my headlight pops up and then goes back down..as if I hit the button to make it do that..well I had my headlights working for a good few hours and when I made an abrupt turn/swerve, car cut me off that stupid f**k, anywho I noticed that my headlight went out again..sure enough when I pulled over, the fuse was blown again..I have my wires relocated to the upper frame rail too so it's outta the tires way..plz help!!!

Did you raise both drivers side and passengers side harnesses, or just the drivers side?

The wiring on the passenger side is only for the cruise, wiper motor, and ATC if the car was an auto. I wouldn't think anything in that harness would effect the headlights.

However you bring up a good point, how did you redo the driver side harness, and is there any part of it damaged or exposed? You might also check the plugs themselves at both the light assembly and the core support, the plugs can get filled with water if unclipped from the support or hang down and catch on any number of brackets behind the bumper.

The car was at stock height and before I installed my coils, 4 months ago, I relocated the harness and no wires were damaged or exposed..i'm confused as hell haha thanks for helping

I re-did both head light fixture harness for the very fact of it being an old car. Wires don't last forever. So yeah you might have to start a project for yourself and start pulling and buying plugs, connectors and such, but who knows its maybe my OCD talking out loud. LOL! But I'm sure you would like to put things that way you want it.
