When getting your s13 hatch painted...

Did you paint your roof black to match your A-pillers or did you paint it to match the rest of your car? The reason I ask is I am about to have my car painted and I have been thinking about painting the whole roof black, and the rest of the car is going to be green. I guess what I am asking is should I paint the roof to match the car or go ahead and paint it black?

I would just get it painted green, I think the whole black thing would be cool from a distance but up close not too cool. Plus, you'll always have people asking why your roof is a diff color(you may not care what others think though).

If it were me I wouldn't.

I'd get it the same color as the rest of the car and not black. Just my preference.

I planned on blacking mine out. will make the car a little hotter on sunny days, maybe... but I think it might look cooler.
does anyone have pics of one that has been blacked out? I'd like to see how it looks.

Thats probably what I am going to do. I may get a carbon fiber hood later and I didnt know if a black roof would help it flow better.

I suggest trying a little Photoshop test to see if you would like it. I do not know if it would look good on a green car.

(alright its color now, but thats how its going to be soon)

Along the same lines (not to jack the thread), do you paint your A-pillars to match your car color (a la kouki 180's), or leave them black?

i kept mine orginal. but i think the roof black would be cool too. i like the sleeper factory look.:cool:

If I were to ever paint my car a color other than black it would def be a gunmetal or dark gray with black roof, the black roof on other colors gives the 240 a kind of jet fighter cockpit look, especially with tinted windows. I have a bunch of pics on my comp with black roofs, but I just packed it away, there are some in the gallery though.
