Why isn't there a Stanley Cup Playoffs thread and there's an NBA thread in this forum??? Shame!

In any case, I say Annaheim will go as far as 3-0 with the Wilde and then the Wilde will beat them 4 consecutive games and play the Devils who will beat the Senators even though they lost the first game. :) I'd just like to see the Wilde get their *** kicked by the Devils for the sake of the same game, right, honey? (directed to WeST, himself)

Nah, what will most probably happen is the Annaheim will play the Devils. Senators did good the first game, what the hell was Martin thinking. Game two today, dont' forget to watch, o ye faithful 240 owners.

I have no idea whos gonna win the Ott Devils game, Martin B is another Roy waiting to retire.

But in any case, since the AVS lost. I want the Ducks to win (even though the Devils are my 2nd fav team). Whoever can sweep the Wings and then beat Dallas desirves to win it all.

The Stanley Cup is due back in Canada. Think about it. ;) We won gold medals in Men and Women hockey at the Olympics, we just got the Gold medal in the World Championship... I say Ottawa brings back the cup to Canada. :)

Since 1994, there hasn't been a Canadian Team as Stanley Cup finalists and before 1991, there never was a all-American Final...

Anyways, we just love our hockey. Too bad Montreal didn't make the playoffs this year. I wouldn't be cheering for Ottawa if they did. :)

I guess you're right, what's fair is fair. The truth is that there's so many Canadian players in the American teams that it feels like Canada here :). The Avs stadium's got Canadian flags all over it. OK, in one place that I've noticed.

In any case, too bad the Ducks beat the Canucks. Wait, that's not too bad. That's goooood. We'll see how the Senators do. Mark loooves the Devils.

It's funny though how our players are superstars in American team. Actually, the final four starting goaltenders are all from my province. (Martin Brodeur - NJ, Patrick Lalime - Ott, Jean-Sébastion Giguère - Ana, Manny Fernandez - Min)


At least, it's small market teams that are advancing... Still shows that in hockey, you can't BUY yourself a Stanley Cup. (Like the Rangers are desesperately trying to do... ;) )

well since the Canes were basically half-Lowell this year, they didn't do diddly...

when the Ducks beat the Wings in their first two games in Detroit, they officially became MY TEAM for this playoffs (although i hate to see Stevey Y lose).
