compression tester

Someone gave me a compression gauge (look at the attached pic)

it seems a litlle off , can i try to adjust it myself ? i dont know if its a good compression tester ... any comment?

It looks off and you don't want to be 30psi off. :p I'd say just go and buy a good compression tester. Sears carries an alright one along with their own Craftsman one that is pretty good. Snap-on has very accurate testers but they are expensive.

those kind are really hard to get into cylinder 1,4 (ka24e anyway) you probably doing sr or ka dohc test so i dont know. looks reallly cheap and its off so basically that is trash
