I'm new and wondering if I am 17 and have. 1997 240sx with sr20 swap will I get pulled over a lot and would they check the engine or mostly exaust

If you're that worried than don't do it.
I live here in California and I've been pulled over plenty of times. (front license plate)
I still haven't gotten my hood popped or anything like that.

Just don't drive like an idiot and don't speed.
