So I went to install my new to me Sard 550's tonight into my stock ka24de fuel rail and found that there are two orings on the stock injectors top (larger) and bottom (smaller) and three on the sards top, bottom, and one even lower on the tip, same size as the bottom, pictured below. This picture is taken from phase2motortrend install instructions, and they state to make sure not to forget the "bottom" oring, but which smaller oring are they talking about? I couldn't get the rail to fit back onto the intake manifold with the tip orings installed. I decided that there only needs to be two orings, one on top of and one below the part of the injector that sees fuel from the rail, so I left the ones from the tip off and am wondering if this will cause fuel spillage? Help please.

Sounds like a plan. Now when it runs in like a month I'll let you know how it works. Thanks s14db.

Now I'm confused on what wires go to which of the stock wires. On the sards there are black with orange stripe, and green with either red/yellow stripe. Then the stock injector plugs have two wires, one red and the other varying colors, the red is larger gauge than the other. I'm guessing red to green? black to varying? Does it matter? Just don't want to solder it all together backwards.

EDIT: Just to verify, most injectors can be wired either way as they are simply solenoids with constant power, and triggered ground, completing the circuit when the ecu tells them to fire.
