Sounds silly, but there are two ways to install the Upper Radiator hose on the SR20DET. I was wondering which one was the correct way?

If you look at the shorter, upper hose it has a long straight end to it.

Some people install the straight end towards the radiator:

And some people install the straight end towards the engine:

Which one is the correct way?

install it so you can read the logo correctly while looking at the engine. that is the correct way you are looking for i guess.

you must be able to locate the center pin holding the pertekeler to the alluminum alloy steel, and bend it 2.5 degrees from it's center piviting point in a all around circular motion.

LOL... mine was leaking and thought it was installed backwards. I had to tighten it a half of turn to make the leaking stop... can't believe it's that sensitive to leaking.
