Hey bros I just picked up new overfenders (DMAX 30mm rears) and i'm having the same kinda problem but now as I did with my old ones, I think its just how they are made.

Is the passenger side (the one cut out for the gas lid) a little narrower than the driver side one?

I'm thinking the gas door takes away some width and that i'll have to bow it out, i'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

Thanks.

Yes, I've had to bow the passenger side out a little more on every chassis I've done widebody fenders on. Make sure your alignment's good, and that you're running the wheel/tire size that you want to end up with, and then make it fit perfectly!

On my S14, using Dmax "40mm" overs I've got them out about 55mm on the driver's side and about 65mm on the passenger side.

Legit thanks man, I knew I wasn't going crazy!

Doesn't bowing the fender make the car look a little higher too though?

Also whats the best way to bow it, like do you rivet the rear on first and bow it or rivet the front on then do it?

And why did you bow the passenger side more?

I rivet the upper front and upper rear, and then squeeze the bottoms together until it bows out the right amount ~ it doesn't make it look higher, at least not noticeably.

And why did you bow the passenger side more?

I've found that most S-chassis cars fit differently one side to the other, so either the subframes dont sit exactly center under the body, or whatever... but I've seen that in totally clean chassis' too. I double-checked my alignment, put the wheels on, and made the overs fit perfectly.
