hmm i think your gonna have to get them sanded down and re coated. If im not mistaken doesnt it say not to use them on certain surfaces? I remember i was carefull to only get them on my tire and not wheels when i use that stuff.

for me simpple scrubbing and degreaser for the tires and rims, and something cheap like greasy interior sprays for tires worked best and doesnt harm anything. Just dont get it on your paint.

You misused the chemicals which caused the staining. Nothing you can do except re-finish them

Degreaser and a scrub brush or sponge is all you need for wheels and tires. And never ever let degreaser sit on any surface for more then 30 seconds. It will stain just like what you see on your wheels.

You should have researched wheel cleaners. Hot Rims is very acidic. Car wash soap and a soft brush is normally all you need to clean wheels. If you want to use a wheel cleaner I recommend these two, they are none acidic and approved by Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, and many others for the cleaning of their wheels.

I think so, never seen them in stores. The site on that link is pretty legit you can get them from there.

no there is not.

And you do not have to buy any fancy expensive wheel cleaners.

PURPLE POWER or any other type of concentrated De-greaser is the ONLY thing you need. I was a professional detailer for many years. Undiluted for tires and wheels
