Ok, i'm getting rid of my A/C to save weight and effort wiring the CA18 that i'm going to be installing soon. Problem is, I just noticed that the evaperator also works as a duct from the fan to the rest of the HVAC system. I saw in the FSM (which i've attatched a pic from) that there's a part you can get to fit in the same spot. Any nissan gurus out there that could get me the part number or provide any other assistance?

Thanks in advance :)

Very interesting. I didn't know something like that existed. If all else fails, you could always just use somekind of ducting.

EVERY US-SPEC S13 240SX PART NUMBER EVER! (http://www.carfiche.com/s13/)

heheh

The part is 27850-40F00 and it lists alternate part 27850-44F00.

It's shown here (http://www.carfiche.com/s13/3/e06.gif) and listed here (http://www.carfiche.com/s13/3/h06.gif).

If you find out what it costs (or if it's even available), let me know. When I gut my A/C I'll probably just leave the evaporator in there, but if it's cheap I'll buy one. I've never seen a non-A/C 240SX in a junkyard, otherwise I'd just go that route.

I actually didn't even know that they made 240's without A/C

AKA, got a price update for you. My local dealer just quoted me 29.14 on that duct.
