Welcome to Earth. We've discussed this for well over a decade.

Any reputable shop can rebuilt it for no more than $80-90.

Yeah, just get it rebuilt. Or even buy one for a ka and swap the internals.

are you positive its your starter because i thought mine was bad and it was just a bad connection i cleaned it and now it starts every time.
