sr redtop, big injectors 2871rs, tuned ecu.

every time i cold start it, it floods. i have to pull the plugs, clear out the cylinders. after i do that, car starts normal and runs amazing.

after i pull the plugs, i looked down into the cylinders and there was visible amounts of fuel on the top of them. i checked for injectors leaks and i have none for sure.

i dont understand why this would be happening.
after the motor is warm, i can shut it off, and start it with no issues at all.

WHAT GIVES???

My car did this when it was really really really cold out. I fixed it by not driving my car in the snow then moving back to FL

have your tuner take out fuel at startup. and if you have a cold weather issue, get a air temp sensor.

sounds good fellas.
i should have stated though, my cold start would be around 65-70 degrees. i have a heated shop, so its not like its ice cold or anything. i will have a fuel removed at startup though

Is your coolant good? Mine did the same thing on start up, but the coolant was only good above freezing. Did a coolant flush and it solved everything.

i dont run coolant...never have. just distilled water. i never drive it in the winter so never seen a use for coolant/antifreeze
